After exiting the main underground canyon, the trail leads through dramatic collapse sinkholes. Here, the Reka River meets the daylight before continuing its journey through the karst landscape.
This section allows you to appreciate the sheer scale of the cave system from the outside. It is also the point on the tour where park rules permit photography again.

This is a massive, 165-meter deep sinkhole where the underground river gorge emerges. It marks your exit from the dark, restricted cave interior. Photography is officially permitted again in this zone. Snap your dramatic cave exit photos here.
20 minutesPath under bridge
This 120-meter deep doline is separated from Velika dolina by a natural limestone bridge. The trail winds directly through these exposed karst rock formations. Follow the path under the natural bridge for a clear view of the layered rock.
15 minutesPrehistoric site
This is a smaller cave section located on the walking route back up to the surface. It is noted for yielding numerous prehistoric archaeological findings. Take a breather here to look at the history. It offers a quick rest before tackling the remaining ascent.
