The above-ground area serves as your starting point for the Skocjan Caves. It includes the main ticket office, meeting points, and surface paths.

You must arrive at the park center well before your entry time. If you have extra time, the marked surface trails offer excellent views of the karst landscape.

This is the central hub for buying tickets and meeting guides. It is also where you board the funicular or elevator. You must arrive at the ticket office at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This ensures you do not miss your group departure.

Walk this marked 2-kilometer surface trail to see the karst landscape, local flora, and village viewpoints. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes to complete. This path is a great way to pass the time if you arrive early for your assigned cave tour slot.
